This is one of the albums that got me into modern “old school” death metal and god damn did it set a high standard for me. This thing is a masterpiece and is essential to any death fiend’s collection. heshrevs

An absolute powerhouse of death metal. Coffin Lust have all the hallmarks in place, but mold them into their own sepulchral effigy. One of the best albums I've heard in a long time. Matthew Toye

I really enjoy the atmospheric down tuned guitars on Severed Monolith. The drummer gets the job done and lays down some very well executed blasting. The ethereal track, “Eternity,” and the last untitled instrumental piano track, are welcome palate cleansers. There is nothing too adventurous but the music is predominantly fun to listen to nonetheless. A solid death metal album, one that I consider relaxing. 7/10. Landon
