Outstanding death metal with blackened touches. For those who dig Beherit, Cryptopsy or Demoncy, check out this LP. Much of this LP owes its brilliance to those who went before; that is, this artist does not deny metal traditions. But there is no pre-fabricated art here, as there is a strong, unique vision in all of the songwriting. The riffs all make sense in their given context; there's nothing that seems superfluous. Very highly recommended listening. Look forward to more from Blood Urn! Wow!

Really well produced and played throughout! Slow and plodding (in places) OSDM but not afraid to go all guns blazing when required. Vocals are akin to cavernous bellows and fit the mood perfectly. Looking forward to a second full length. Should be bigger on the DM scene!!
