This is an enjoyable listen, though not my favorite in the genre. I liked it enough to give it another shot another time, though. So this review may change.

Totally knocked me on my backside. Aggressive, fast, muscular Death Metal just as you'd expect from the Netherlands but with a great deal of mournful depth and melody that makes it very memorable from the off. Don't sleep on Burial Remains. poisonremedy

Unfortunately, this is a prime example of an album with a strong opener and a weak rest of the album. The production is excellent; the instruments are half decent; the vocals are okay, but the lyrics are downright cringey. Heads for the Dead has no right to be as popular as they are within the metal underground, to be frank. Camel
