Ethan Michel This is some damn good tech death. I think I got through streaming three songs before I knew I had to purchase this album. I hope to hear more from them soon. Favorite track: Act 2: Umbra of Mirth.

John Darville My pick for the best of 2016. This is an amazing album and one song flows naturally into the next. The album demands to be heard in its entirety but at a push, The Ocular Dominance and Non-Entity of Visions are standout tracks. Brutal rhythms give way to some truly beautiful progressive passages and spacey atmospheres. Azooma have created a masterpiece and The Act of Eye really deserves far greater recognition. Hopefully we will be hearing more from these guys!

Vladimir Poutine Man, this album is a fun ride. Proggy tech death in the vein of Gorod, with jazz fusion-inflected compositions that are somehow unpredictable yet strangely cohesive. Definitely recommended, and I'll be keeping an eye on these guys in future. Favorite track: Act 2: Umbra of Mirth.

Len van der Wolf Instrumental prowess minus the usual chest pounding, what's not to like? Favorite track: Act 6: Flare of Flames.

1st full length album by this astonishing band from Iran that plays a progressive Death Metal with great technical skills where they blend brutality and excellent melodies with influences in the vein of NILE, CARCASS, DEATH, GORGUTS, early OPETH, MORBID ANGEL...
