Death metal where the death is reeeeeeeally slow. This is more like very slow death metal than death/doom, there isn't a lot of doom elements to it, more melodic flourishes and some interesting riffage. An intriguing record from a band with a unique feel to their sound.
Favorite track: Feverish.
1st full length album by this spanish band of heavy and dark Death/ Doom that will please every fan of bands like OPHIS, ASPHYX, NECROS CHRISTOS, EVOKEN, early PARADISE LOST, DETERIOROT, MY DYING BRIDE...
Unfortunately, this is a prime example of an album with a strong opener and a weak rest of the album. The production is excellent; the instruments are half decent; the vocals are okay, but the lyrics are downright cringey. Heads for the Dead has no right to be as popular as they are within the metal underground, to be frank. Camel
