Marcus vL-W Desecresy is probably my favorite Death Metal band. Slow, abyssal, malevolent without the violence. Like a filthy bacterial mat slowly, inexorably, dissolving living tissue. Chasmic Transcendence is the next album I'd recommend after Stoic Death and the Doom Skeptron.

xhrl_ Smashing melodic death metal from Finland -- so bloody fine. I've been a huge fan of Desecresy since their début in 2010. If pushed, I would call this third LP my favourite. As any death metal LP worth a shit has a feel of brutality to it, so does this album. But on this LP there are a ton of heavy & doomy grooves amongst the riffs which perhaps makes it more accessible to novice death metal ears. Yet Desecresy are skilled death metal technicians; so it is not for pussies. An essential album! Favorite track: Infinite Halls.
